FEES & REBATES

You don’t need a referral to see a Clinical Psychologist, however if you have a referral and mental health care plan from a GP a Medicare Rebate is available. Payment can be made at the end of the appointment either by credit card or EFTPOS.

Fees

A standard session fee (50 minutes) is $245 (with a Medicare rebate your out-of-pocket expense from July 1st is $103.15).

Rebates

If referred by your GP under the Better Access to Mental Health Care Initiative, you will be eligible for a Medicare Rebate of $141.85 per session from July 1st for up to 10 sessions a year. 

 

You may also be eligible for private health insurance rebates with your private health provider.

Cancellation Policy

Straight Talk Psychology has a 24-hour cancellation policy, if you do not attend or cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours, you will be charged 50% of the appointment fee.
